Regardless of what type or brand of heating and air conditioning equipment you have, it is recommended that you have your equipment serviced at least once yearly to maintain a safe and efficient system.

Ideal Heating & Cooling offers many service agreements for homes and businesses. Below is an example of a basic maintenance plan.

RESIDENTAL ENERGY SAVER PLAN

15% discount on repairs during contract year.
Consists of two routine calls as outlined below:

SPRING AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE

  1. Check operating pressures and refrigerant
  2. Check voltage and amperage of motors and controls
  3. Check air temperature drop
  4. Wash condenser coil (Cleaning solution additional, if required.)
  5. Lubricate all moving parts where required
  6. Check belt and adjust tension where required
  7. Change or clean filters (Filters additional)
  8. Check starting contactor in condenser
  9. Check thermostat
  10. Check condensate drain

FALL FURNACE SERVICE

  1. Check thermostat
  2. Check all safety controls
  3. Check, clean, and adjust burner for efficiency
  4. Check and adjust pilot assembly
  5. Inspect heat exchanger for safety
  6. Lubricate all moving parts where required
  7. Check belt and adjust tension where required
  8. Change or clean filters (Filters additional)
  9. Check gas piping to furnace for leaks
  10. Operation and safety check of system

* High efficiency furnaces require additional testing and an additional fee
* Some furnaces and air conditioners may require more specialized cleaning due to their construction or environment. Additional cleaning fees may be required.
